Rates and Reservations... 

                The Ten Bits Ranch is an elegant,  seclude facility in the Big Bend region of Texas.  We can accommodate up to ten guests maximum.  We offer  a minimum of a two night stays  which include a daily continental breakfast.   Tours are available through our tour operators at an additional cost.    Higher room rates apply according to seasonal trends.  High season includes the first weekend of November (chili cook-off), the week of Thanksgiving, two weeks of Christmas/New Year’s, the month of March for Spring Break and Easter weekend.   Please consider reserving space early during these high demand periods!

All rates are subject to change.

Normal Season Rates: (any week not listed as “High”  season)**

Price is $159.00 per night per room based on double occupancy (two people in room). 

2 night minimum stay required

Price is $199.00 per night per room based on double occupancy (two people in room).  Group discounts do not apply to High Season rates.

2 night minimum stay required

 More than two people per room there is a $25.00 per person per night fee.

**Please keep in mind Ten Bits Ranch runs off of solar energy .  None of our rooms have Air Conditioners nor Swamp Coolers .  Please keep in mind the average temp in June is 103 degrees Fahrenheit, July is 102  degrees Fahrenheit and August is 100 degree Fahrenheit.  The average low for the summer (June, July  and August) months is low 70's.  All other months of the year with the window open and ceiling fans the rooms stay nice and cool.

Ten Bits Ranch Booking Policy:

• T. B. R.  has  4 guest rooms.  Camping and RV facilities are not available.

• 1/2 the package price is due at the time of booking by Credit Card or by Check.  The full package price is due within 30 days of your scheduled visit.  Any reservation changes after original booking will result in a $25.00 per person fee if decreasing the number of nights.  See our Cancellation Policy for additional fees.

• We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Cards.  Personal checks and cash accepted.

• Group discount of 10% apply to groups of 8 or more for Normal Season rates only.

 

• 7.75% sales tax on tours and 13% hotel occupancy tax not included in prices. (The occupancy tax for Brewster County has changed effective Oct 1, 2009 which raised the total occupancy tax from 9% to 13%.)

• Check-In time is 3:00 PM and Check-Out is 11:00 AM.  We advice you arrive during daylight hours.

• Because we are an off-the-grid facility, T.B. R. is not responsible for damage that may occur to unauthorized electrical equipment  used by guests at our facility.

• A minimum age of 10 years is required in order to stay at the Ranch. If you bring a child under this age, without prior approval, you will  not be allowed to stay and the cancellation policy will still apply.

• All facilities and rooms are smoke free.  Smoking is only permitted outside.  Please dispose of smoking materials in a responsible manner.  A $75.00  fee will be charged for smoking within any guest room or Ranch Facility.

• It is the responsibility of our guests to repair or replace any items damaged as a result of their stay at T.B.R.   A minimum of $25.00 will be charged to the credit card T.B.R. has on file for the responsible party.  Damages exceeding this amount will be charged accordingly.  Furthermore, it is the responsibility for our guests to replace any items missing from the  guest rooms or the T.B. R. facility as a result of their stay (for example: towels, pillows, doormats, pictures, window coverings, soap dish, furniture, etc.).  There will also be a minimum fee of $25.00 to replace missing items unless the cost of replacement exceeds this amount in which case, replacement costs will be charged accordingly (which may also include shipping/travel expenses).

• Pets are not permitted. 

• Guest telephone service is available only in our Cantina.  Wireless internet service is available for those guests who have a laptop computer.

Also, in order to maintain our unique atmosphere, television service is not available.  

• Additional release forms and information may be required by our affiliated tour operators.

• Full refunds (minus $25.00 per-person service fee) provided given at least 30 days notice for canceling or decreasing the nights of stay.    Within 30 days, a $100/person booking fee plus the above $25.00/person service fee ($125.00) will be charged with the remainder refunded.  If you cancellation or  charges are made within 10 days of your scheduled arrival no refunds will be given.   Refunds for tours are handled separately and subject to the terms outlined below. Please contact us before making your reservation if you have any special booking concerns that you would like us to address.

Ten Bits Ranch Tour Cancellation Policy:

• A $25 per person non-refundable deposit is required for the SUV tour.
• All tour prices are per person plus 7.75% sales tax and any applicable park fees.
• If you cancel the day of the tour we will charge you the full amount of the tour unless we can reschedule you at a different time of your visit.
• Tour prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
• Ten Bits Ranch had the right to modify or cancel any tour due to weather or other considerations that may affect the safety or comfort of our guests.  Full refunds provided upon cancellation of a tour by Ten Bits Ranch.
• Ten Bits Ranch tour schedules can be flexible based upon weather and the needs of our guests.
• Tour costs are in addition to standard Ten Bits Ranch accommodation fees.
• Advanced booking is recommended as tour space may be limited.

On Foot:  Lost World Paleontological & Archeological Guided Hike ( 2 and 1/2 hour s)

                        Leaves from Ten Bits Ranch.(minimum of 4 people)

                  $50 per person plus sales tax for people staying at Ten Bits Ranch.

              $60 per person plus sales tax for people not staying with us.

On Foot:  Crow-Chasing-Hawk Archeological Guided Hike ( 1and 1/2 hour s)

                        Leaves from Ten Bits Ranch.(minimum of 4 people)

                  $25 per person plus sales tax for people staying at Ten Bits Ranch.

              $30 per person plus sales tax for people not staying with us.

Please note that the guided hiking tours you will need to bring water with you!

By SUV:  The Wild Side ( 3 hour s)

                        Leaves from Ten Bits Ranch.

                  2 guest minimum. $65 per person plus sales tax for people staying at Ten Bits Ranch.

              2 guest minimum. $70 per person plus sales tax for people not staying with us.

By SUV:  Wacky Terlingua ( 3 and 1/2 hour s)

                        Leaves from Ten Bits Ranch.

                  2 guest minimum. $70 per person plus sales tax for people staying at Ten Bits Ranch.

              2 guest minimum. $80 per person plus sales tax for people not staying with us.

Ten Bits Ranch tours by SUV include bottle water and sodas for refreshment!
